Dr. Muni N. Tahzib, MD
Dr. Tahzib was born and raised in The
Netherlands. She graduated from the
University of Utrecht Medical School in 1995.
She completed a year of Pediatric Training at
the University of Coventy at Warwick,
England. In 1996, Dr. Tahzib moved to New
York to start her Residency in Pediatrics at
the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at
Schneider Children's Hospital. She then
completed a two year Fellowship in Allergy &
Immunology at Long Island Jewish Medical
Center. After working as an Allergy Associate
Specialist for a practice in New York for three
years, Dr. Tahzib decided to start her own
practice. Hoboken Allergy & Asthma
Specialists was opened on March 21, 2006.
Dr. Tahzib is married and has three children.
Dr. C. Gaston Turnier, MD
Dr. Turnier completed one year of a
postdoctoral Fellowship in Pulmonary
Diseases at the Hospital Necker des Enfants
Malades in Paris, France. He then completed
Pediatric Residency at the Bronx Lebanon
Hospital Center and his Fellowship in Allergy
and Immunology at the University of
Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
(UMDNJ). Dr. Turnier is a Diplomate of the
American Board of Pediatrics and the
American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
His primary areas of interest are nasal
allergy, asthma, and hives. Dr. Turnier came
to Hoboken Allergy & Asthma Specialists in
April of 2007. He is married and has two
